Montfort Community Development Society (MCDS) an Integrated Community Development Programme of the Montfort Brothers of St.Grabriel, India (St. Montfort (1673-1750) Founder, Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel).

MCDS is a humble but sincere attempt to follow the example of this great Saint and social reformer who during his time equated service of God with service of man, particularly the poor and the disabled.

Bro. Patrick, s.g., Founder / Director of MCDS has been actively involved in the field of education and rehabilitation of the people with disabilities for about twenty years.

MCDS has come a long way since its inception just nine years ago. This website is an effort to show the present and what is yet to come.

Staff training and exposure visits:

Both these activities are the integral part of MCDS activities. The calendar year starts with the three-day training programme for all the staff. Programme consists of evaluation of the past and planning for the future. Eminent persons in the field of community development are invited to address the staff.

All the middle members and senior members of the staff gather at the MCDS center once a fortnight to review and plan ahead.
